Start with a scoped task
Describe what the system receives, what it should return, and which cases must be handed off to a human. A concrete scope makes it easy to evaluate whether the solution is useful and detect where it fails.
Context has an owner
Define which sources each user can consult and how they are updated. Showing the origin of a response makes review easier; it does not automatically make the response correct.
Evaluate before and after
Prepare representative examples, including edge cases and unanswered questions. Compare quality, time, and cost against a baseline process. Keep a changelog and repeat the evaluation when updating the system.
Operations are part of the product
You need observability, reporting mechanisms, and a path to correct results. Human intervention must be designed as a normal system function, not a last-minute patch.
